I have started preparing the final part of Epochs 1 "Vision of Youth" in small steps. I wanted to try an idea with the strings because this last part is livelier and should be livelier. It points towards Epoch II: Descent into Despair and the first part "Unraveling".
However, I mostly worked on "Fragmented Reflections," which is starting to take shape. I need to work more on the rhythm since I had made preparations for it earlier. What I heard sounded interesting.
There will be a bit of a break tomorrow with the market, which we haven't visited in a long time. I'll probably have a session tomorrow evening and possibly Sunday morning and evening. I'll see what happens. Work isn't prioritised in the same way on the weekend.
A few days ago, I made variations on the folk music, replacing it with only 1/4 and 1/8 notes. Then I did a retrograde. Now, I have done it on woods, brass, and strings Tundra. I want to use them all in "Fragmented Reflections." I'm taking my time to find the right form. At least I made some progress today.
